2008 - 2009 Season!
U11 Girls Complete Season with Siege at St. Francis
Our U11 Girls finished the travel season with a great weekend with the girls playing very well. They won all games in convincing fashion. It was a successful end to a very good season!
Success at White River Classic
Congratulations to all of our FSC teams who participated in the White River Classic hosted by Noblesville United Soccer Club. A special thanks to all of the moms in the club for supporting your sons and daughters at a tournament on Mother’s Day weekend.
Our young ladies (12-3-9) and young men (13-2-7) had a successful tournament with the following teams reaching the championship game in their divisions:
- U12Girls-Clark (Girls U12 Black Champion)
- U12Girls-Laffin (Girls U12 Gold Finalist)
- U11Girls-Thompson (Girls U11 Gold Finalist)
- U11Girls-Essington (Girls U11 Black Finalist)
- U12Boys-McKeown (Boys U12 Black Champion)
- U12Boys-Vermillion (Boys U12 Gold Finalist)
- U13Boys-Cook (Boys U13 Black Finalist)
U10 Girls Runner-Up at Derby Cup
The U10Girls-Williams#1 finished Runner-Up at the Derby Cup (April 24 - 26) in the U10 Girls Premier Division. The girls went into the championship match as the 1st Seed and came out just shy losing to Evansville SC Thunder 0 -1. To earn the #1 Seed, the girls the match previous, defeated the same Evansville SC Thunder team 1 - 0 in the late morning.
U11Girls-Carrithers FINALIST AT PIKEFEST
The U11Girls-Carrithers had a great showing at the Pike Fest Tournament. The girls were in the Gold Division and had a great run to the finals with 7-1, 6-0 and 2-0 wins. They played a hard nosed final game only to fall 0-1. Very proud of the girls and we are all looking forward to great season!
U12Girls-Laffin WIN ARSENAL CHALLENGE
Our U12Girls-Laffin won our division of the Arsenal Challenge Cup in Cincinnati, OH, August 16-17. Our scores were 3-0, 5-0, 5-0 and we won the final game 2-1. Almost a complete shutout!!
PERSEVERANCE PAYS OFF
After a season of no wins behind them as U13s, the FSC U14A Girls team began this season with a resounding 6-0 victory at St. Francis (see photo above). After doing much over the summer to build stamina, skill and teamwork they have found that hard work and passion for the game pay off. Congratulations, girls!
