WELCOME TO TRAVEL SOCCER

The FSC Travel Soccer program is designed for and committed to providing a higher level of training and competition for those players that have a desire to develop their skills beyond that which is available at the recreational level. While we are an integral part of this community-based organization, Fishers Soccer Club requires more significant parental and player commitment, with the goal of providing a more instructive and competitive atmosphere than Recreational Soccer.

FSC Travel teams, ranging from U-9 through U-14 in the fall, and U-9 through U-18 in the spring, compete, at the league level, with similar teams from other communities, generally within a 75 mile radius of Indianapolis. The teams compete in at least 2 tournaments per season (4 total), and may elect to enter additional tournaments as the team so desires. Practices are generally 1 ½ hour sessions held 2 to 3 times per week, depending on age and level of play. Games are played on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Each season (fall and spring) has a 10 game schedule, with 5 games at “home” and 5 “away”. Tournaments may be played pre-season, during the season, or post-season.

Travel soccer offers a more intensive training program designed to more quickly advance the development of our players. Travel players receive 1 ½ hours of soccer technique and tactics training per week from soccer professionals – the cost of these skill-intensive sessions are included in the basic fees for Travel Soccer. In addition, position-specific clinics, such as goalkeeper clinics, are held regularly during the season.

If you are interested in joining FSC for a competitive season of soccer, contact traveldirector@fisherssc.org for more details.

All Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers, and Board Members must submit new on-line IYS background check form.  Click for details.
