Coach Information

All of our coaches in the Rec Plus program are volunteers; most are parents of players on the team.  This page contains information needed by our Rec Plus coaches.

For our children's safety, Fishers Soccer Club requires background checks for all of its coaching staff, in every program and at every level.  Coaches must successfully complete the background check (online via GotSoccer) before being allowed on the field with players for games or practice.

Indiana Soccer Coaches Education

Fishers Soccer Club is proud to be part of Indiana Soccer.  Rec Plus soccer coaches seeking to further their coaching education should consider participating in training offered through Indiana Soccer.  The courses are age-specific.  The Indiana Soccer course appropriate for our Rec Plus coaches (high-school age groups) is the "E" License Course.  This is also the minimum coaching standard set by Indiana Soccer for U15 and older for any travel and for U13/14 ISL/MRL teams.

Fishers Soccer Club will host an "E" License training session August 19th-21st.   Beginning July 2011, Indiana Soccer will require a $100 deposit for all E and D License courses. Coaches will have their deposits refunded after they complete the course -- in other words, it is free if you actually attend the course.  The deposit payment will be a part of the registration procedure.  [ Register Online ]
