Coach Information
All of our coaches in the recreation program are volunteers; most are parents of players on the team. This page contains information needed by our recreational coaches.
Fall 2007 Coach Meetings
Our fall coach meetings will be held on the following two evenings in July at Cumberland Park (106th and Cumberland) in Fishers. Join us for an evening of information and skills training.
- Wednesday, July 11 at 8:00 PM, PK through 2nd Grade
- Thursday, July 12 at 8:00 PM, 3rd/4th Grade through High School
Each session will start with brief introductions, followed by a coaching clinic conducted by Derek Brown. At the conclusion of the evening we will gather in the park building to cover pertinent topics and distribute rosters.

IYS Training
Fishers Soccer Club is proud to be part of Indiana Youth Soccer. Recreational soccer coaches seeking to further their coaching education should consider participating in IYS training. The courses are age-specific; a coach with division A and F teams would benefit from both Youth Module 1 and the Youth Technical Course. The IYS courses appropriate for our recreational coaches are:
- Youth Module 1 - PK (U5), K (U6), 1st Grade (U7), and 2nd Grade (U8) divisions
- Youth Module 2 - 3rd/4th Grade (U10) and 5th/6th Grade (U12) divisions
- Youth Technical Course - 7th/8th Grade (U14) and High School divisions

IYS Background Checks Required for All Coaches
All of our coaches are required to submit to a background check. Indiana Youth Soccer (IYS) provides an on-line tool which must be used. Once coaches complete the form they should provide the background check confirmation number to their commissioner. Note, IYS has our organization listed as "FISHERS YOUTH"
