Parking Guidelines
FSC requests that all participants treat our sites and the surrounding residents with respect. Please park only in designated parking spaces and enter and exit our facilities with caution. Parking notes for our sites follow:
Holland Memorial Park:
Parking at Holland has been the source of many issues. There is adequate space for the fields but insufficient parking in the lot. With the addition of the eighth field for D Girls (due to insufficient space at Hamilton Proper with baseball having to use those fields instead of Billericay Park), parking will be even more of a concern.
If you park on Ellipse, only park on the inside. NEVER PARK ON THE OUTSIDE OF ELLIPSE. Do not use private driveways for turning around.
Please follow these suggested parking guidelines so that we may respect area residents and continue to have use of these fields.
- Field 5 - Park on the inside of Ellipse west of the path or in the main parking lot
- Field 8 - Park on the inside of Ellipse east of the path or in the main parking lot
- Field 2 - Park on the inside of Ellipse north of the path or in the main parking lot
- Field 1 - Park on the inside of Ellipse south of the path or in the main parking lot
- Fields 3, 4, 6, and 7 - Park in the main parking lot
If we abuse these requests and residents complain, it is possible that the Town Council may force us to reduce the number of fields we use which will either cause games to be played beyond 4:30 on Saturdays or require more weeknight games, neither of which is desirable.
Hamilton Proper Facility:
At Hamilton Proper, PLEASE PARK ONLY IN THE DESIGNATED LOT accessible from Hoosier Road, at the west of the facility. Yes, you will have to walk to the fields, but the access road at the north of the facility is there as a requirement for utilities access, not parking.
Entering and exiting that service road is EXTREMELY dangerous and there have been many near misses. We are sure to have an accident if people continue to disregard our requests and use this area to park because they don't wish to walk the distance to their field. Please help us by obeying the rules and not parking in this area. Just because baseball parents haven't gotten the word does not permit us to do the same. Please set the proper example and help prevent an accident that could cause serious injury to our children.
We have had to pay officers of the Fishers Police Department to help direct traffic and to block this road. The traffic light that is now installed at the intersection of 116th and Hoosier Road will help, but the construction is complicating things further. Please be patient and courteous. As at Holland, our continued abuse of parking guidelines could lead to our having reduced or no access to this facility.
